INTRO
This is our 5th store interior project with the Lavarice brand. We developed the stylistic solution and brand concept in 2019 under the internal code name – “Cave”, which refers us to sunny and plastic Mykonos, where there is a lot of light. One main colour has been chosen, which is revealed through different natural textures.
This store is the first street store for the brand, and its location is obligatory – the Patriarch’s Ponds district is one of the most popular in Moscow. For us, this is the 2nd fashion brand store in Patriarchs.
PLANNING SOLUTION
One of the requirements for this room was that the existing walls could not be touched and that the perimeter of the room had a rectangular trapezoidal shape. The new design solution made it possible to play elegantly with the existing walls without losing space and without disturbing the ergonomics of the sales area. The long side of the trapezoidal space served as the main axis around which the design solution was created. The plasticity of the walls and the multiple levels allowed us to create a dynamic space and engage the customer.
We paid particular attention to the brand content and literally framed it with a flowing shape, creating a drop screen. This interior accent draws attention from the street through the windows and draws people into the store.
EQUIPMENT
When the main works were completed, came the stage of installing the furniture. Most of all elements we were waiting for the stones and were very worried about their installation.
When we went out to the yard to take delivery, we saw a manipulator (crane) on which the boulders were loaded. Emotions overwhelmed us, because we had no idea how exactly they would be delivered! At that moment we realised the seriousness of the idea. Patriarchs had never seen anything like this before 🙂
Each stone was carried by 10 men. The weight of each stone varied from 500 to 700kg. It was scary, because the interior was already finished and the final touches required very careful work.
